I took my beloved 2010 Genesis Croix de Fer out today for my first gravel ride of the year. It’s easy to forget what a very special bicycle it is. Great on trails, good on the road, the Genesis likes everything – except being hung up in the garage!
I was more Nervous Nelly than Hero, but that’s down to me not the Croix de Fer. I really do love light trail riding and I must do more this Summer. I am a much more relaxed rider on gravel, as I feel no need to press on and push for speed.
